Top 10 Autumn and Winter farmers markets in the Lake District

If you are planning to visit the Lake District, and you want to sample typical Cumbrian food, take a trip to one of the many farmer´s markets that are held throughout the year.Although most visitors come to the Lake District during the summer months, the markets also continue in Autumn and Winter, and you can find some of the finest Cumbrian produce for sale.
Offering a wide range of delicious local cheeses, meats and vegetables, directly from the Lake District farms, this is the perfect way to sample Lake District delicacies for a fraction of the price you will pay in the shops.

6.Egremont- July 2nd and 16th, August 6th and 20th, September 3rd and 17th, October 1st and 15th,
November 5th and 19th and December 3rd and 17th.
7.Greenhead - September 12th, October 10th, November 14th and December 12th.
8.Kendal- September 24th, October 29th, November 26th and December 24th.
9.Milnthorpe- September 10th, October 8th, November 12th and December 10th.
10.Ulverston- The third Saturday of every month.
