Dalton
Dalton is the ancient capital of Furness, and visitors can experience its extensive historical background, including the 14th Century Castle, which was originally built by the Monks from Furness Abbey. The Castle stands on the market place and in the shadow of St Mary´s Church, one of the oldest parishes in the area. Dalton Leisure Centre offers plenty of things to do for all the family, including a family pool, gyms, sauna, squash courts and a café.
